- Quality pressure-treated pine is used (other wood types available)
- All 4x4 line/corner posts are set in a 20-24Ó concrete embedment
- Gates are set on 6x6 posts at a 24" embedment with 80 lbs of concrete to ensure stability
- Quality, heavy-duty ornamental hardware is used with each gate
- 2x4 “stringers” connect posts and slats with a variety of joint types to meet your requests
- Ring-shank galvanized fasteners prolong the life of the fence and help prevent against “pulling”

Image offers wood treatments and staining services to make or keep your fence looking new and prevent excessive weathering. Ask your Image sales representative about the various options available to protect your wood fence and give it a look that matches your style.
Image recommends treating your wood fence yearly with a high quality wood treatment or stain with UV protection within a month of installation. Even though water sealants and stains to not completely prevent warping, twisting, and cracking, treatments will help prevent or delay.
Additional Fencing Options
Vinyl fencing offers the aesthetic appeal and all the options of wood fences. Vinyl fences have a greater initial cost but none of the ongoing costs associated with other materials. Vinyl is durable and virtually maintenance free and great for pool enclosures. Image only uses vendors that offer lifetime warranties so you can rest assured that your initial cost is a worthy investment. Aluminum fencing offers an elite look that will add a lifetime of durability while raising the aesthetic value of your home. - Having your property surveyed will eliminate any disputes over property lines with neighbors.
- Make sure all utilities are marked prior to any digging, dial "811". If you would like for us to install, we will do this for you.
- Drive around and look at fences. The more you see will help in consideration of fence style and how it will match your terrain, home, and needs.
- You get what you pay for... Do not be too quick to settle for the lowest price; to keep prices lower some builders may cut costs that can result in you paying more down the road.
- Treat wood fences within 30 days of installation. The wood needs time to dry out but applying a sealant will help keep the wood looking new and add years to its life.
